- Play a central role in building the foundation of the Ennismore backend system
- Act as the owner of the Ennismore API which powers our e-commerce system (and generates sales of more than 1M GBP per week)
- Write services using Golang (and a bit of Kotlin), using gRPC for inter-service communication, Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage applications, Drone and GitHub Action to run the CI/ CD pipeline and AWS as cloud provider
- Work in an agile environment (comfortable estimating tickets and working in sprints)
- The successful candidate will have professional experience in Golang (or Java/Kotlin), design patterns, testing methodologies and API integration. Ideally, you will also have exposure to any one of the following:
- DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions)
- AWS
- Exposure to gRPC framework or similar
- Microservice architecture

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. The role is suited to a skilled Golang Developer who will play a central role in building the foundation of our backend system. You will also take ownership of the Ennismore API, powering our ever-evolving e-commerce platform (a platform generating over £1M in sales per week)!
